From my experience sharks need a fine sandy substrate and a tank large enough to accommodate them at adult size. Usually a 150-200 gal tank should be fine. Standard saltwater filtration with a sump, protein skimmer, UV sterilizer, and a return pump. Feeding is every couple of days or so. Sharks should be kept in species tanks with sharks and rays. No fish that will nip at their fins or tails. __________________ Shaun at Vivid Aquariums
